Most Production-Heavy Concert Intro for a Punjabi Artist
Project Overview
For Punjabi music artist Wazir Patar, we created a 90-second fully CGI concert intro designed for big screens and live stage shows. The vision was to give Wazir a futuristic, Batman-like aura that matches the timeless, otherworldly feel of his music.
The story follows his journey from a space station to Earth, arriving in a re-imagined Mercedes-Benz Weltrekordwagen T80, redesigned with carbon fiber and spaceship aesthetics. Both Wazir’s hyper-realistic 3D replica and the futuristic Mercedes were modeled from scratch, making this one of the most production-heavy intros ever made for a Punjabi artist. The intro blends cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge CGI, elevated further by Wazir Patar’s original soundtrack.
Project Workflow
1. Concept & Storyboarding
Developed a futuristic “Batman-from-the-future” inspired storyline of Wazir traveling from a hand-modeled space station to Earth in the legendary Mercedes-Benz Weltrekordwagen T80, reimagined as a carbon-fiber space car.
2. 3D Character Creation/ Artist CGI replica
Developed a lifelike digital replica of Wazir using high-resolution face scans and turban scans. His outfit was designed and simulated in Marvelous Designer, ensuring realistic cloth movement and stage presence.
3. Vehicle & Environment Design
Modeled the Mercedes T80 from scratch, blending spaceship elements with its historic form. Alongside it, we hand-built and textured a detailed space station to set the scene for his journey.
4. Simulation & VFX
Enhanced the landing sequence with Embergen-based blast simulations and additional VFX passes. These effects added weight and realism to the car’s atmospheric entry and dramatic Earth landing.
5. Scene Assembly & Rendering
Brought all elements together inside Blender, carefully lighting and animating each sequence. Final rendering in Cycles delivered high-fidelity visuals optimized for massive concert screens.
